Long review incoming, (worth the read)!! I'll try to make this as short as possible, but this mattress is literally the best I have ever slept on. I previously had a Beauty rest mattress, it was "comfortable" but after years I started having back pain from the foam on top wearing out, I just wasn't getting that GOOD night sleep. Ok, so it's time for a new mattress, where do I even start looking? I want a QUALITY mattress, a comfortable mattress, why not shop local and see what's available before going to a big box store place? Being a local to Saint Joseph I decided to check this place out, and I am so glad I did!! I spoke with Jenifer at the store who was AMAZING first of all!! She helped me try out different mattresses, checked out different firmness inserts until I found "The One". I am a tall guy at about 6 foot 4, so I need a California King mattress, but to get to the point, I went with this mattress because you can just tell that this is a high-end, high-quality mattress. From the New Zealand wool, so the GOTS organic cotton, to the thicker steel springs, you just know this is going to be a great mattress. And being made right here in Michigan, it supports a loacal business versus some big box store, which I always try to do if possible!! One of my favorite features about this bed, the removable foam inserts on top!! If the bed ever starts feeling like my old one and the foam is wearing out, just unzip the top, remove the old foam insert, pop a new one in, and just like that, brand new again!! I have owned this bed for a few months now, as I wanted to wait to leave a review after many good night's sleeps, but I can honestly say my quality of sleep has DRASTICALLY improved after purchasing this bed!! The ONLY and I mean ONLY thing I regret about this is not having them bring it in and set it up, because this bed is HEAVY!!! Again, another way to tell it's a quality bed, it was probably twice as heavy as my old bed. Sorry for the long post, but I just can not say enough good things about this bed and about the staff there, they truly made my decision so simple when it came to purchasing my new mattress!!

Who knew mattress shopping could be such a fun experience? For big purchases, it is so important to be able to see and feel the product in person. The Rested Pillow showroom is spotless and organized so that you can find the perfect combination of material, firmness, price point, etc that suits your needs. We landed on the “Pretty Green” mattress with new adjustable latex pillows. After a couple months, both my husband and I realized that we were no longer struggling with the hip and shoulder pain that we assumed was just a part of getting older! We also don’t take for granted the easy delivery process and the great crew. I have recommended Rested Pillow to all my friends and family and look forward to replacing other mattresses down the road!

"Great Experience" and "Mattress Shopping" might not be two terms people would normally equate, but that is exactly my take. I was in desperate need of a new mattress, but the thought of spending a lot of money and mattress mattress shopping caused me to keep putting it off. A close friend convinced me to visit Rested Pillow after getting her mattress there. A mattress purchase is "kind of a big deal". A good mattress does cost a lot of money, but considering you spend ~1/3 of your life sleeping, it is not something to skimp on. That being said, you also want to be sure you spend a a descent about of time trying out the many different mattress out there. Rested Pillow has a great selection and Allison (one of the owners) is very knowledgeable, not only about the differences in the mattress configurations, but about their construction too. I made the 2 hour drive from the Lansing, MI area to St. Joseph, MI and spent an additional 2 hours trying out the different mattress. I moved from mattress to mattress trying the different configurations, Some of the king size mattresses on display have two different foam toppers within the same mattress, allowing you to simply roll from one side to the other and back. Trying different mattress configurations over a longer period of time allows you to feel the subtle (and sometimes, not so subtle) differences in the mattresses. Be sure to dress comfortably (I wore my relaxed running gear), unless you normally sleep in jeans, a belt and a dress shirt...lol. I've owned the "Pretty Green" mattress for about two months now and am very happy with it. Oh, and one additional note: You want to be sure you put your new quality mattress on a quality frame. My old frame was just about as bad as my old mattress. I kicked that to the curb and built my own frame. A "flat" modern style frame like this one (no recess for the mattress) makes rotating a breeze. If building your own bed frame is not something you want or can do, Rested Pillow does carry these as well.
